What's On
We host safe and inclusive groups and events in Halifax, designed and run by our members.
If you have ideas and would like to get involved, we would love to meet you!
Current Groups
What to expect...

We get together to meet, connect, support each other, share ideas, play music, create art, eat, do activities, organise and relax.
We want to make these spaces accessible to all, whatever language, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, age or access to financial resources. Our events are free to access - we welcome donations from those who can afford to contribute so that we can continue to do this work.
We would like to support people who speak a language other than English to connect by offering translation where we can. If you speak another language and would like to come along, please let us know.
Please read the FAQs below for more details...
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to book in advance?
There is usually a limit for our events for health and safety reasons so we ask that you let us know so we know how many people to plan and provide food for (where relevant).
Can children come?
We welcome children and young people coming along with a family member or guardian who can take responsibility for their well-being. In the future we hope to provide activities for other age groups so that we build connections between generations and support single parents to join.
Will there be alcohol?
Our events are drink and drug free. We feel that this makes the space safer, more inclusive and supports connection.
Can i get involved in / volunteer?
We would love more people to get involved in organising, creating, cooking, translating, playing music, entertaining kids, washing up, social media and spreading the word in our communities. Please let us know if you can help.
Who is organising this?
We are a new community organisation made up of people living in and near Halifax who enjoy being together in diverse groups, showing up in solidarity with one another and creating new connections. We want to share what we have and grow a more resilient community. This is a community led project, so let us know if you share our values and would like to get involved.
How is this funded?
We are currently funding this ourselves so we are grateful for any donations. Over time we will apply for grants, and once we have set up the space hope to become self sustaining. If you feel able to contribute to help us get set up either by donating money or your time, please get in touch.
If you have any other questions, please contact us.
We hope to see you at one of our events soon :)
